Turning AI experiments into work you can show

A simple record can make the difference between a forgotten experiment and a useful lesson.

Start with a question

Before opening another tool, write down what you want to find out. A specific question makes it easier to decide whether the result helped.

Keep the record small

Capture the task, inputs, tool and version, time spent, cost, result, and what needed human correction. Save an example that can be shared without exposing private information.

Separate three kinds of statements

What I observed. What I think it means. What I still need to test. Keeping those separate makes the writing more useful and the next experiment easier to design.

Publish the useful part

A short account of a failure can teach more than a polished success claim. Explain the conditions, show the limitation, and say what you would change next.
